Recently bought an HP Compaq Presario PC with the Vista Home Basic operating system. It can't seem to read the CDs - so I did a diagnostic and was given the HD521-2W code along with a "read" element failure. Can this be repaired? I'm tearing my hair out!!! I'm in the middle of a time-sensative project!!!
