I have a desktop that is using Windows XP Media Center Edition SP3 . The mouse is a Microsoft basic optical mouse. It stopped working yesterday when I plugged a digital camera into another usb port. I rebooted but did not help. I switched it to the other usb port on the back of the computer but this did not help. When I switched it to either of the front usb ports I get a flag stating unable to recognize device. I did a sytem resore to a point from the previous day but this did not help either. When I go to device manager it shows the usb ports as being okay. I do not have a Windows XP disk. My computer skills are fairly limited. Any help would be appreciated or should I call in a repair company. Thanks
